Nectar Events
Nectar Events are designed to feed our minds and nourish our hearts. They are community based events that enable workforce development and create connected communities
Bellbirds feed primarily on nectar, and in doing so, they play an important ecological role in pollinating the flowers of many native trees and shrubs. Through this pollination, fruits and berries grow that feed birds and animals, demonstrating how Bellbirds are essential in assisting the regeneration of the forest.
Bellbird facilitates Nectar Events, opportunities that provide learning and training that supports us all to feed our knowledge, develop our skills and grow a strong community of practitioners.
Nectar Events are community based events, however if you would like Bellbird to develop and deliver specific workforce development to your organisation, please contact us to talk about how we can help.
Mental Health First Aid
About 1 in 5 New Zealand adults experience challenges with mental health in any year.
This means that at some stage, everyone will have close contact with someone experiencing mental health challenges.
Would you know how to respond?
A Mental Health First Aid course will teach you how to provide initial support to adults who may be experiencing mental health challenges or mental health crisis, until the crisis resolves, or specialist help is accessed, using a practical evidence-based Action Plan.
Bringing Nectar to your organisation
Nectar Events are community based events, however if you would like Bellbird to develop and deliver specific workforce development to your organisation, please contact us to talk about how we can help.
We are able to provide short topic learnings through one-hour or two-hour Practice Forums, or more intensive training with one-day or two-day workshops.
These are designed especially for your organisation, for your kaimahi, and for your whānau you serve.
